New kit

New Year and a Freebie

Well, I knew when I started a blog that I would be really bad about keeping it. But, since it's a new year I'm going to try to be better. I just released a new kit at Digital Scrap Garden. Its a total boy kit, called Rough & Tumble. It was a lot of fun to make! here are some previews of it...

I also made a mini kit to give away for free of the things that didn't make it into the kit. The mini has 3 12x12 background papers and 1 torn paper. 1 controller "frame", 1 bug, 1 donsaur, and 1 orange stitched circle (As a side note my 10 year old son came up with the idea for the controller "frame" and he is the one who decorated the bug template. Ok well I haven't been on here for a while, but I am doing a design contest at [url=http://www.digitalscrapgarden.com/]Digital Scrap Garden[/url] The first weeks challenge was to do a summer themed kit with specific colors. So Here is a preview of what you get. the only catch is you have to go [url=http://digitalscrapgarden.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=575]Here[/url]
Once you are there there are 9 kits that you can download, and if you would be so kind as to vote for your favorite that would be great. All you have to do to vote is click on the word vote that is under the kit you like the best (hopefully mine lol). You may have to register at digital scrap garden first (the first link) but they have great challenges that go on there and you get mini kits for completing them and they also have a daily download that if you download every day at the end of the month you have one big kit.

Ok well, I am trying my hand at Scrap Orchard's So you think you can design contest. I am in no way as talented as these ladies but I thought it would be fun, and I can get some feedback to help me make things better. We had to follow a certain color swatch and this is the kit I came up with. Please leave a comment if you download. I am shocked at the fact that it has been downloaded 40 times (with 1 comment) and people don't even say a simple thank you for someone giving you something for free!

Oh and, If you really like it you could go to scraporchard.com and post a layout you made with my kit. LOL

glitz & Grunge Elements

Ok I was having some problems with 4shared, but I think it has finally let me upload these. Here are the elements that go with the papers I posted last night.
The set includes: 2 glittery grungy cardboard frames, 1 cardboard frame with a ribbon wrap, 1 blob of glue, 2 paper flowers with glitter, 1 journaling block, and 1 spiral thing with beads ( can't come up with an actual name lol), and 1 ribbon with a buckle. I got the glitter from Flergs and I love it! I think I am going to have to buy more because you can use it for so many things. first kit

I have been working on making my first kit, and it is finally done. First I am going to give the papers, and then I will post the elements soon. The paper pack includes 5 grungy papers with different textures. Please leave a comment if you download and I would love to see any layouts made with my items.

My poor baby, and a little freebie

My poor baby woke up from a nap today burning up and when I took her temp, it was 103. I called the doc and he told me to give her some Tylenol and a cool bath and to make sure she was drinking lots of water. She told me she wanted cereal so I made her a bowl and then she just sat there staring at it, until I fed it to her. Poor little thing. Her temp finally broke tonight and she is feeling better but she gave us a little scare.
Ok Here is another little freebie. I was working on making some cute frames. They are cardboard style frames with some different little embellishments. I hope you enjoy them and I would love to see what you use them for.

Very first freebie.

Ok, well I have been playing with my photoshop a lot lately and trying to learn new things. One of my favorite things about paper scrapping is the stickers, so I decided I wanted to learn to make my own stickers for digital scrapping. in the process these are what I came up with and I thought I would share them if anyone else found a use for them. They look like the puffy plastic stickers I used to get as a kid. Please this is my first download I have ever done so if you have any problems or suggestions to make it easier or better let me know.

Picking dandelions

I got a new Nikon D80 SLR camera the other day and I am in LOVE! It takes beautiful pictures just on Auto, so when I actually read the 5000 page manual that comes with it and learn to use it I'm sure they will be even better! Could take till my daughter is in college though lol. We went outside yesterday because it was beautiful and I took some pictures of my daughter picking dandelions. I will definately be doing some scrapbooking with these!

First Post!

Wow I finally have a blog! It seems like everyone else has one or has had one for such a long time. But, I'm finally catching up in this technical world.

I guess I will post a little about me to begin with. My name is Tiffany and I am pretty new at this digiscrapping stuff, but it didn't take me long to get addicted! I am married and have 2 children. You will see lots of pics of them up here because they get to be my models for my pages. I guess that is really all for now. Not really sure what to say.... lol. here are a few of my recent scrapbook layouts i have done.
